Centrally located and stunningly presented, this extremely appealing 3-bedroom city pad makes the ideal base for your adventures in the city. It accommodates up to 4 guests in total.
Inside you will find a bright, well designed living space with a handsome grey and cream colour scheme and particularly comfortable contemporary furnishings throughout. An excellent fitted kitchen enables you to create you favourite meals from home and you can enjoy them together served up at the dining table and chairs by the window. An L-shaped sofa and flat screen TV create a very inviting living space and the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries when the city has exhausted you. The sofa also converts into a bed for one of your guests at night time.
Meanwhile the three private bedrooms are tastefully decorated with attractive artworks, excellent storage for all your belongings, a double bed each and bed side lighting.
Also included in the apartment three private bathrooms fitted with toilets, sinks and showers so you will never need to queue for the loo!
The apartment is situated, as the name would suggest, very close to the city’s delightful Westerpark. This is a lovely place to explore on a sunny afternoon with its several water features, green open spaces, a nature reserve and some excellent cafes and restaurants in which to grab a bite to eat.
The apartment is also just a minute’s walk away from the old Jordaan district, famed for its architectural beauty and fiercely competitive flowery window boxes. This was once one of the most deprived and over-crowded parts of the city however its fortunes have turned around following the war. Today it is one of the most desirable neighbourhoods in the country. Famed for its pretty parallel streets and fiercely competitive window boxes on display you will simply love exploring the back streets here.
The Jordaan is connected to the city’s Canal Belt which is made up of the four great waterways that loop around the oldest part of the city centre. The Prinsengracht is particularly famous as a little further south it is the location of Anne Frank’s secret attic hide-away. Since the Second World War visitors have been paying pilgrimage to the secret annexe to see the shockingly small conditions in which the family and friends hid from the Nazis during the occupation of the city. It remains the most visited museum in the city with over one million people every year calling in. Due to its popularity we recommend you book a visiting slot online in advance to avoid a very long wait in the queue.
