Amstel Highlights

Nowadays it is also a place where a lot of museums can be found, such as the spectacular Rijksmuseum (with a collection of all famous Dutch painters, such as Rembrandt and Vermeer), as well as the Van Gogh Museum. It is simply amazing to be staying at such a prime location. There’s also a lot of cafés, exciting bars, and fine restaurants here. For a try to the Dutch cuisine, we advise you to go to the Van Woustraat 110 where you’ll find restaurant Elmar. All of the ingredients in their meals are organic and produced locally. For a nice lunch, try the sandwiches at Broodje Popov a bit down the road at number 20. Bazaar, located at Albert Cuypstraat, has a delicious Mediterranean cuisine. This street also holds a spectacular street market six days a week, so we highly recommend you to visit this vibrant area.
