This modern short stay apartment enjoys a great location just outside of the Canal Belt within an area called De Pijp. This is a cosmopolitan part of Amsterdam with many shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Within ten minutes on foot you can be at Amsterdam’s most popular market the Albert Cuyp Market which is a hit amongst locals and tourists alike. On from the market is the Ferdinand Bolstraat which has many restaurants and leads you north onto Stadhouderskade where you will find the Heineken Experience which was once the Heineken Brewery but is now a popular tour museum. It takes only fifteen to twenty minutes via tram to get to the central Dam Square around where there are many tourist attractions such as the Red Light District, the Old Church, the Royal Palace and Madam Tussauds wax museum. You can also shop in this area at Kalverstraat, Nieuwendijk, Magna Plaza and de Bijenkorf. If you enjoy visiting museums then you will be happy at the Museumplein where you can visit the Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum and the Rijksmuseum.
