Situated on the ground floor, the apartment comprises of an open living and dining area, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, with the corner couch converting into a snug sleeping spot for two of your guests. The cosy living space includes in house entertainment in the form of a flat screen TV and DVD player, enabling you and your group to take advantage of the international channels on offer.

The peaceful bedroom contains two luxurious single beds and storage space for your personal belongings, and the bright and clean bathroom includes a relaxing bathtub and shower.
Wonderfully positioned on the banks of the eastern harbour, this holiday apartment affords an enviable location, close enough to navigate the historic city centre on foot but with enough distance to provide an authentic Amsterdam experience. The Oosterdok itself is a picturesque area perfect for a leisurely stroll and is home to an excellent selection of attractions, especially tailored to younger members of the family. The two prime examples are the striking Nemo Science Centre, ingeniously designed in the shape of a giant green ship bursting through the water’s surface, and the neighbouring National Maritime Museum, which has recently undergone a dramatic modernisation. This mammoth construct houses a rich and captivating collection of naval artefacts, offering a fascinating glimpse into Dutch history and culture.
This Amsterdam accommodation is also situated in close proximity to the city’s notorious Red Light District and the colourful Chinatown. This vibrant quarter is home to countless bars, restaurants and cafes, and boasts beautiful 17th century architecture. If you desire a venue that is slightly more authentic and more cost effective than the inner city, then take a fifteen minute wander east along the water to the Ij Brewery. This delightful pub resides in a former bathhouse next to the Gooyer Windmill, established in response to the increased public dissatisfaction with the beer brewed by larger companies. Presenting a delectable assortment of organic beer, the Ij enjoys a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and is particularly pleasurable during the summer months when locals and tourists gather together on the sunny terrace.

We were a family of 4 and the apartment satisfied most of our needs. Just to warn you when we reached the apartment location it was a bit dodgy and not clean looking, but the inside was perfect. Plus points are that very close to the central station, the bus stop is just opposite the apartment to central it is only one stop. There is a lovely Chinese restaurant nearby- Sea Palace very recommendable and the Spar supermarket is just 2 minute walk. One whole if you are going with a small family definitely recommendable. The only down side for us was that the TV did not work but the DVD player was working , and we had some DVDs with us.Amar - Date: 16:35 15-04-2012 Source: AmsterdamApartments.com

I can highly recommend Amsterdam Apartments. There was a problem with the original apartment we had booked but the support we received from the staff in rectifying the situation was outstanding. Within half a hour we were moved to a beautiful apartment. It was great to experience such friendly and understanding staff.Christine - Date: 10:08 03-11-2011 Source: AmsterdamApartments.com

A lovely basement apartment with own front door, pleasant decor and all you need for a comfortable stay. It was very cold on our visit but the heating was superb and kept us cosy. Close to station and city centre but far enough away to get a breather. There is a small Spar supermarket round the corner or a larger supermarket further up. Would highly recommend and if returning in the future would consider these apartments again. Very helpful and friendly staff too.zoe - Date: 13:56 26-11-2010 Source: AmsterdamApartments.com
