The Museum Quarter II Apartment is a contemporary 3 bedroom apartment sleeping up to 6 in Amsterdam's Old South. Split over two floors, this holiday rental apartment is beautifully decorated with stylish furniture and fixtures, ideal for those seeking accommodation close to Amsterdam's world famous museums.
The contemporary open planned living area downstairs features everything expected of a modern apartment, including the fully equipped kitchen. If you plan on spending an evening in, then you'll be doing it in style with the large dining table, sofa arrangement and entertainment system, consisting of a large flat screen TV and DVD player. Rounding out this floor is the seperate toilet located in the hall. Upstairs you will find the three bedrooms. The master bedroom is on the frontside of the apartment and is equipped with a double bed and ensuite bathroom. The other two bedrooms are located at the back of the apartment, one with a double bed and access to a small balcony, while the other features two single beds. The second bathroom is also located on this floor. This apartment is ideal for groups looking for accommodation in Amsterdam's museum quarter.
Fair-trade Max Havelaar Cotton
The bath linen we use is made of Fair-trade cotton. Fair-trade cotton is cotton that is produced durable without any insecticides in developing countries. By paying an honest price to local farmers the environment of those who are directly involved is improved step by step.
We always keep looking for new ways to contribute to a better environment.
The apartment is located at the edge of the Old South, also known as the Museum Quarter, home to some of the cities most famous museums in the Rijks Museum, the Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art and the Van Gogh Museum. The square is also home to the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam's famed concert hall. Unfortunately at present, Museum square finds itself in the midst of redevelopment with the Stedelijk moving to a temporary space and the Rijks partially closed. The partial closure of the Rijks is possibly a blessing in disguise with the museum at present housing 400 of its most famous works in what its website describes as the creme de la creme. The apartment is also just a short walk from Amsterdam's largest and most popular park, Vondelpark; de Pijp, where you will find an abundance of cafés, restaurants and the famous Albert Cuypmarkt; and P.C. Hooftstraat, one of the most expensive shopping streets in Amsterdam, home to numerous international brands.

Fantastic place to stay for a short break! Staying at the apartment gave us flexibility and the freedom to enjoy our holiday at our own pace.Lots of lovely restaurants nearby and a pleasant walk into the city centre.
