This is a modern one bedroom holiday apartment that one or two people can enjoy during a short stay in central Amsterdam; nearby are Anne Frank House and Dam Square.
Located on the fourth floor this apartment is a great little hub for one or to two people to live in during a leisure or business stay in Amsterdam. It has a very fresh and airy ambiance with light flooring and white walls. As it is located on the top floor of a 17th century house it has some attic-like slanted walls such as in the bedroom which gives it a rather cosy and romantic setting. The living room is front facing with a great view from height over the narrow street outside; a perfect place to ponder about your next city adventures. The living area is open plan and includes wooden furniture such as two chairs, a coffee table, a dining table with two dining chairs and a side cabinet. It also includes a small but well equipped kitchen which makes it a fantastic private and self-catering alternative to a hotel. This lovely holiday apartment also has one double bedroom with a wooden side cabinet and a lamp, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower unit.
Important Information: The stairs are fairly steep, this could make it difficult for elderly, small children and those travelling with large suitcases.
This Amsterdam holiday apartment is located in the city centre within the popular Jordaan district. Amsterdam is famous for its many canals and a number of them pass through this area allowing you to enjoy gentle walks along the canals admiring the historic sites. Just down the road is the Prinsengracht canal by which you will find the Anne Frank House (only five minutes away in total) and the neighbouring Western Church which is mentioned in Anne’s diary and is also the resting place of the famous Dutch painter Rembrandt. Only a ten minute walk away is the busy Dam square. There is much to do on and around the square and you will be spoilt for choice in eating out, drinking out, partying and shopping. The square is the home of the Royal Palace and the National Monument and from there you can walk into Amsterdam’s China Town and also the popular Red Light District which is usually filled with tourists, especially on the weekends.
