Modern, style and comfort all come to mind with this Amsterdam holiday apartment which sleeps up to four in the city centre near Anne Frank House and Dam Square.
Located on the first floor this short stay apartment offers a space in which you can easily relax in during a leisure or business stay. It has been finished in a modern style with a couple of touches of traditional with the wooden coffee table, the gold mirror on the wall by the dining table and the eye-catching wooden wardrobe in the bedroom. The one bedroom in the apartment has a double bed while the sofa bed in the living room ensures that up to four people can stay here. The bathroom, which has a bathtub and a modern shower unit, is accessible through the bedroom which perhaps makes this apartment most suitable for close friends or a family. A wooden floor and white walls are present throughout, making the apartment look very fresh and airy. The three large windows in the living room are a fantastic feature and you can enjoy the street view through them or undrawn the curtains to allow much natural light to travel in, which is particularly refreshing in the mornings.
Important Information
The ensuite bathroom can only be accessed through the bedroom and cannot be closed off by a door, therefore keep in mind that privacy is limited.
The Jordaan district is a much sought after area to live in, especially amongst the hip and arty crowds. It’s lovely narrow streets, the many cafes, the historic 17th century houses and the perfect canal sites invite you to take a casual stroll through it; take your camera as there are plenty photo opportunities by the canals and especially on the humpback bridges over the Brouwersgracht canal in the northern part of the district. The equally charming Prinsengracht canal is just down the road and on it (about a five minute walk away) is the ever popular Anne Frank House museum which usually has long queues outside of it so book in advance if you want to visit just to avoid the wait. Next to it is Westerkerk which is the resting place of Rembrandt and outside of which you will see a statue of Anne. Dam Square is ten minutes away where there is plenty to see and do there: Royal Palace, National Monument, China Town, Red Light District, New Church and many shopping, dining and drinking opportunities.
