The Hyacinth Apartment is a contemporary one bedroom residence located close to the centre of Amsterdam. Sleeping four, this apartment is ideal for those seeking holiday rental accommodation in a more relaxed area without being far away from all the attractions the city has to offer.
This modern apartment is elegantly furnished with attention to detail shown throughout. The bright living room included a sofa bed, arm chair, a dining table and the latest in audio-visual equipment. The fully equipped kitchen contains everything required for preparing meals at home. The bedroom at the back of the apartment contains two comfortable single beds. The bathroom includes a shower, sink and toilet. This apartment is ideal for small groups after stylish accommodation in a more relaxed part of Amsterdam.
Fair-trade Max Havelaar Cotton
The bath linen we use is made of Fair-trade cotton. Fair-trade cotton is cotton that is produced durable without any insecticides in developing countries. By paying an honest price to local farmers the environment of those who are directly involved is improved step by step.
We always keep looking for new ways to contribute to a better environment.
The apartment lies in what is known as the Plantage District, a largely residential area situated south-east of central Amsterdam developed during the 19th century with money made mostly from the cities diamond trade. Today the district is a peaceful, attractive, green neighbourhood with beautiful architecture and tree lined streets. Several of the cities attractions are nearby including the old city zoo Artis, the Hollandsche Schouwburg, the Tropen Museum and the Hortus Botanicus (botanical gardens). There are some fantastic bars, cafés and restaurants to be found in the area and Rembrandt Square in the city centre is just 15 minutes away on Tram 9.

Great service, very kind and helpfull. The apartment was great, enough cooking ware, great beds and linen. When we reserved tickets for a museum online, it even was possible to have them printed in the office. I would definitely rent an apartment again; because of the great service, good location and well equipped apartment.

The location was excellent, close to the centre in a quiet area and all the inside facilities were new and well-preserved.
