The famous Leidseplein can be reached in about twenty minutes with a combination of walking and tram 10 or 7 from next to Frederiksplein. There you can continue shopping, dine out or hit the bars and nightclubs in the evenings. Dam Square and the nearby Red Light District can be reached in only fifteen minutes via Tram 3 from near the apartment. This is always a busy part of Amsterdam with much to see and do, with the central station in the area too.
