Find it on the second floor, which is the top floor of the building and be impressed with the stylish décor, the current interior design colour scheme and the eye-catching rooftop windows. This is a studio apartment so you will also find a bed to get some sleep on after each long outing in the city. When you are not out and about you are enjoying the cosy and stylish surroundings as you relax on the sofa or eat at the dining table. There is a supermarket and a Mondays to Saturdays market both nearby so that you can purchase products to cook and consume during your self-catering holiday. Spend your days surrounded by locals rather than tourists but use the bus or the tram to get to the tourist filled city centre in minutes. Amsterdam’s Eastern Islands is untouched by the crowds but makes for a calming holiday. This apartment is more specifically located in the Oostenburg area and just across the canal from the popular Plantage district where you will find many great attractions such as Artis Zoo, Hollandsche Schouwburg, Hortus Botanicus, Hermitage Amsterdam and the Royal Theatre Carre. Artis Zoo is about a ten minute walk away from this holiday rental. Even closer to the apartment is Het Scheepvaartmuseum which exhibits the Dutch maritime history and has a replica of a large cargo ship called Amsterdam. Walk a few minutes into the Dapperbuurt to find Dapper Market or take the bus to Amsterdam Centraal and from there find many busy streets to shop on. The area around the station includes the Red Light District, Dam Square and China Town, and is a fantastic night time destination too.
