Reach Amsterdam city centre with ease as you stay in this Eastern Islands located holiday apartment. The apartment is in the Oostenburg area, right by a canal that separates this area from the Plantage district that is on the other side of it. In about five minutes on foot is a popular Mondays to Saturdays market called Dappermarkt and in about seven minutes you can find Het Scheepvaartmuseum and a replica of a ship. Inside the Plantage district is Artis Zoo that you can reach in about ten minutes. There is a bus service on the road that you are on and bus 22 will take you to Amsterdam Centraal in ten minutes. Centraal is right by the Dam Square and Red Light District areas where you can find many attractions, shop, restaurants, cafes and bars. The area is also serviced by tram 10 which stops just around the corner. Take the tram in one direction to Java Eiland and in the opposite direction to Leidse Square; disembark the tram one stop before the square for the Rijksmuseum.
