The bus runs from your street to Amsterdam Centraal and from there you can walk into the Red Light District or down the road to Dam Square. Amsterdam has a regular and trusty tram service and tram 10 from around the corner will take you within minutes to Java Eiland where an annual music event takes place for King’s Day every April; go in the opposite direction and you will find yourself on the buzzing Leidse Square in fifteen minutes.
