YAYS Concierged Boutique Apartments: Bickersgracht 5E Amsterdam

Accommodating up to six guests, this attractive two bedroom apartment offers an ideal base in the west of Amsterdam.

Occupying a prime position close to an array of must see sights and attractions, this apartment provides the perfect starting point from which your journey can begin. Overlooking a beautiful canal and housed within a striking building, the apartment also creates the model setting in which to relax and unwind following an action packed day.

The living room, which is furnished with a large, double sofa bed, a coffee table and a flatscreen television, is enhanced by fashionable décor and authentic wooden floors. The elegantly designed, open plan kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances needed in order to prepare a home cooked meal, which can be enjoyed together with your companions at the impressive dining table.

With two cosy single beds and a welcoming double bed between them, the apartment’s two inviting bedrooms ensure that everyone has somewhere to rest and appreciate a much-needed, good night’s sleep. Completing this attractive accommodation is the refreshing bathroom, which is fitted with a toilet, sink and bathtub.

Location

Ideally located within the Western Docks area of Amsterdam, this apartment is perfectly positioned within easy reach of an array of must see sights and attractions, all of which are easily accessible either on foot or by taking public transport from one of the nearby bus and tram stops. A short walk away from the apartment will lead you to the free boat service, another excellent transport link which provides a connection to the north of the city and to attractions such as the fantastic Eye Film Institute. A brilliant collection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants are also within close proximity, many of which can be found along the nearby bustling Haarlemmerdijk avenue.

The apartment is also conveniently situated at the northern edge of Amsterdam’s hugely popular Jordaan district – an area renowned for its chic and stylish atmosphere and a place which is home to many of the city’s well-known landmarks such as the striking Westerkerk (West Church) and the fascinating Anne Frank House Museum. The neighbourhood was formed in the 1600s to accommodate the ever increasing working class population of the city centre, but soon became overcrowded and run down. The Jordaan was transformed in the 1970s, resulting in the much-loved district that it is today.
