If you are looking for accommodation for up to 6 guests in central Amsterdam then look no further than our stunning 2-bedroom holiday property.
You can expect an extremely enjoyable stay at our canal side city pad which features floor to ceiling windows and a modern open plan lay out. Everything you need for your holiday is provided here including a fantastic fitted kitchen enabling you to prepare favourite meals from home during your stay. A handsome dining table and six chairs allow mealtimes to be a sociable and comfortable event.
Kick off your shoes and make yourselves comfy on the sofa and enjoy the flat screen TV also provided when Amsterdam has exhausted you. There really is a lot to see out there in the city! The sofa also coverts into a double bed at night time for two guests if needed.
There are two private bedrooms in the apartment featuring a double bed and two singles. Also included is a private bathroom fitted with a twin sink, shower, bath and toilet.
The apartment is perfectly positioned for your holiday in the city since it is only a stone’s throw away from Central Station itself. This is a charming redeveloped area known as the Westerdok which has a friendly community spirit and features both attractive old and new architecture.
A wealth of fantastic world class attractions awaits you on your doorstep. There are nearly 60 museums in the city to visit. Thousands of shops, boutiques, department stores and markets are ready to sell you just about anything and everything you could imagine. If you wish to explore a little further afield then the handy bus and tram network is on hand close by.
The attractive neighbouring districts include the world famous Canal Belt and the Jordaan. Some of the prettiest districts in the county they are famous for their tall leaning canal houses, delightful house boats and competitive window boxes. These were once some of the poorest and most overcrowded districts in the city but today they boast the most expensive price tags and remain the most desirable areas in which to live.
Some of our visitors take the free ferry across the river to explore Amsterdam North. The Amsterdam Eye Film Institute is a popular new attraction in the city and is located just across the River Ij, directly behind the apartment.
Many of our guests choose to visit the most popular museum in the Netherlands, the now world famous Anne Frank House in the Jordaan district. Here at 263 Prinsengracht, high up in the roof space, Anne, her family and friends hid from the Nazis during the country’s occupation in World War II. As a visitor you can walk through the tiny secret apartment and see Anne’s actual diary. This is certainly a very moving experience in which one learns the realities of this, a most difficult and perhaps darkest period in Amsterdam’s recent history. A visit here comes highly recommended and it is advisable to book tickets online in advance to avoid the inevitable queues that form daily.
