Be sure to take a look at our appealing 2-bedroom holiday apartment in central Amsterdam which provides excellent accommodation for up to 6 guests.
Floor to ceiling windows provide lots of natural light and views of the pretty canal below whilst the decor is a cool elegant shade of grey with wooden floorboards throughout. Located on the 2nd floor of a newly built stylish apartment complex, this impressive short stay abode is absolutely ideal for your visit to Amsterdam.
A modern open plan living area includes a fantastic fitted kitchen enabling you to prepare meals at any time that suits you and your guests. Meanwhile a table and six chairs are also provided alongside. A flat screen TV can be enjoyed from the comfort of a large sofa which also converts into a bed for two of your guests if needed.
There are two private bedrooms which feature a double bed and two singles and are decorated in similar restful shades ensuring restful sleep during your stay. Topping off the apartment is a designer bathroom suits with a double sink, shower, toilet and bath.
You will find the apartment located only few minutes’ walk away to the west of Central Station in a quiet residential district known as the Westerdok. The city’s varied attractions are all just moments away for you to enjoy so there’s really no need for you to have to access the public transport network. However of course this city has a lot of energy and lot to offer so it’s possible you might prefer to take the tram home when your legs are feeling tired.
The adjacent Canal Belt district boasts a fairy-tale like quality with its tall wonky buildings and pretty house boats bobbing at the water’s edge. You will find pretty churches, bustling markets and competitive colourful window boxes on display here. At night time the area is delightfully lit up by fairy-lights twinkling under the old bridges. It is quite shocking to learn that parts of the area were nearly demolished to make way for a new access road into the city. Thankfully this did not happen and the city’s gems have been secured a place on UNESCO’s world heritage list, preserved for future generations to enjoy.
You will find a feast of shopping opportunities to dive into in Amsterdam. Take your pick from the high-end department stores around Dam Square such as the Bijenkorf and Magana Plaza around Dam Square or the more affordable unique bargains of the Waterlooplein Flea Market and the exquisite Nine Streets district.
