This chic Amsterdam holiday apartment for a group of 4 is a perfect choice for anyone in search of tranquility and convenience within the area of the city centre.
This modern development is bound to grant you a perfect hideaway after a busy day of sightseeing, which will probably be a frequent point on your list of activities, given the excellent location of this apartment.
Situated in the western dockland area, it offers a really easy access to the heart of Amsterdam, and fantastic indoor conditions owing to the contemporary interior design solutions. The bright and spacious daily area comes with a double sofa bed, a designer coffee table, and a flatscreen TV for some home entertainment. It connects smoothly with a modern open-plan kitchen and a dining section furnished with a large dining table and a set of chairs, so that everything you need for your daily indoor stay is within your reach.
As for the ‘night’ section, it features two separate bedrooms, one of which offers two single beds, while the other comes fitted with a large double bed – and all that served in a light-grey tranquil setting. The apartment features also a fresh bathroom equipped with a shower cabin, a bathtub, a double sink, and a toilet to complement the whole.
The apartment screams modernity and style – and so does its neighborhood. The newly-adapted residential part of the western dockland is a trendy place full of amazing eating establishments and cafés like Bickers aan de Werf, ‘t Blaauwhooft, or Restaurant Marius, and one which offers some truly spectacular views of the vicinity. Yet, it remains conveniently close to the original city centre, so that you don’t feel too ‘detached’ from the usual pace of Amsterdam; all you need to do is to take a 5-10-minute walk south-east and you’ll reach the lively city centre with all its major highlights, including Oude Kerk, De Wallen, Dam Square, Begijnhof, and all the attractions you’ll find scattered around the area.
To the west, in turn, you’ll find the lovely Westerpark, which serves not only as a great site for recreational activities, but also as a popular venue for many artistic projects, including concerts, performances, shows, and many other occasional events. Apart from that, you’ll also have a very easy access to the legendary canal belt – head south and explore this picturesque maze of diversity on your own. And if you take a ferry (free of charge!) across the IJ, you’ll be able to visit the most spectacular EYE Film Institute – a stunning museum of everything film-related.
