This apartment is warm and cozy and has been recently renovated. The living area has a comfortable sofa and two armchairs. So take a seat, turn on the flat screen or DVD player and watch you favorite program with a nice glass of wine. The open kitchen has an oven, a microwave, a fridge and even a toaster and a coffee machine. So start your first day in Amsterdam with a strong coffee and a toast with jam.

The bedroom has a double bed and adjacent you will find the bathroom with a sink and a shower. The toilet is separated from the bathroom.

This apartment is located only minutes on foot from the Vondelpark. This park opened in 1865 and is named after a famous Dutch poet from the 17th century called Vondel. It is a great place for a quiet walk or going for a drink in one of the many cafés like the Round Blue Teahouse or café Vertigo. In the summer Vondelpark is full of people playing music, kicking a football, eating, drinking or just relaxing on a bench and looking at the other people strolling by.

A real Dutch experience is to go to a market. The most famous market is on the Albert Cuypstraat six days per week. This Albert Cuyp market is a noisy place with yelling market sellers who will try to get your attention. Do like the Dutch and buy a raw salted herring with sliced onions. Hold this herring by its tail and let the raw herring dipped with onions slide into your mouth.

You can even walk to the famous Red Light district. The ladies of the night will welcome you with the most charming smiles. The streets of this district are narrow and very cozy with the ladies sitting behind large windows. If the curtains are closed and the red light is burning then the lady has a customer. It is a safe place to be because the pimps want to protect their business. And if you really want to have a strange experience, go to the sex museum in this district.
