If you’re in search of a compact but fully-functional Amsterdam holiday apartment for a group of four, this place may be exactly what you might be looking for.
You’re bound to be amazed by the surroundings of the place, but if you come inside, the charm continues. Beautiful décor combined with practical layout is a guarantee of a great short stay in the Venice of the North.
The ‘main’ room is actually a combination of dining and living room. This is where you’ll find a TV-DVD home entertainment centre, a chic dining table complete with a set of stylish chairs, and a modern open-plan kitchen which comes fitted with a nice selection of cooking amenities so that you’re ready to treat your company with some home-made dishes of your own idea.
The apartment comprises two separate bedrooms, which enjoy a very atmospheric finish and a set of furniture to grant you all the functionality you might expect. The master bedroom is furnished with a big double bed, while the smaller bedroom offers two single beds. There’s also a contemporary bathroom fitted with a sink and a shower, while the toilet is located separately. All in all, this place is a real treasure on the map of Amsterdam, providing you with top level of comfort and superb location.
Important information: Please note that this apartment has a kitchen/dining area and no separate living room.
Not only does this apartment offer a wonderful indoor environment for your short stay, but it also gives you an easy access to some of the most amazing local attractions of Amsterdam. What better way to start the day with a brisk walk through Vondelpark dubbed by many as the Central Park of the Venice of the North? And what about dozens of splendid variously-themed eateries scattered around the neighborhood? And that’s only a fraction of what you’ll find in your nearest surroundings!
If you head west along the picturesque absolutely-Dutch Overtoom, and then turn a bit to the south, you’ll probably notice the trademark ‘Iamsterdam’ sign already from afar. This is where the famous Museumplein is. It is a fantastic ‘cultural hub’, as it offers access to some of the top museums of Amsterdam, including Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum, House of Bols, or Van Gogh Museum – and all of them within a walking distance from one another.
You can head further to the west and explore the area of Marie Heinekenplein (and check out the Heineken Experience for some brewery-related fun!), and if you turn north, you’ll get to the ever-amazing Canal Belt full of inspiring pieces of architecture, fancy boutiques, tiny variety markets, friendly coffee shops, bars, and cafés. You can also rent a pedal boat to change the perspective of sightseeing and go even more Dutch.
