The city centre is just a short tram ride away from this six person holiday apartment which is set in East Amsterdam, overlooking Tropen Museum.
Living here is easy. We all love a short getaway but when away from home we still want a bit of home with us such as all the simplicities like a sofa to put your feet upon, a table to enjoy your meals on in private, a coffee table to set your drink or magazine down on and your own private space to unwind or sleep in whenever you like. This Amsterdam holiday apartment lets you do all that and the bonus is that it’s new and modern too. Accommodating six people maximum it has two bedrooms and a sofa bed to make your sleeping arrangements around; one of the rooms has a double bed and the other two singles. Your very own bathroom is a modern space and one in which you can be out of in a jiffy because it has a convenient shower unit. The perfectly equipped kitchen means that you can prepare your own meals or snacks any time you want. There is an outdoor market only about a five minute walk away where you can buy well-priced fresh goods from.
Extra information: Because the apartment is situated on the 4th floor and only reachable by fairly steep stairs, it is less suitable for elderly or handicapped people.
This Amsterdam holiday apartment makes for the perfect solution for those searching a location near to the city centre but far enough away from it in order to have a more peaceful short stay. The regular tram service enables you to quickly make your way into all the main tourist hotspots and quickly get back to the apartment to call it a night and refuel for the next day. You can even use the immediate area as a days’ outing as there are a few great attractions there too. Firstly the large Tropen Museum is just across the road, Artis Zoo is only just over a ten minute walk away, Ooster Park is five minutes nearby and the Dapper Market too. The two tram stations which are just a stroll away can take you to areas such as Dam Square, the Red Light District, Leidseplein and the Flower Market in around ten minutes. Leidseplein and the Dam are great for shopping and eating out, with the latter also having many other famous tourist attractions nearby such as the Royal Palace and the Old Church.
