Enjoy a peaceful holiday in this inviting apartment in Amsterdam West, located near Erasmuspark and a short drive from Schiphol.
Step inside this ground floor apartment and feel at home as you take a tour of your cosy holiday rental and see all familiar functions. Making for an ideal setting during a relaxing holiday it has all the furniture and decorative items needed to make you feel quickly comfortable. Both the kitchen and living room are front facing so you have great street views as you relax on the sofa or prepare your dinner. The large windows saturate the space with lots of natural light and in the living room are dressed with thin curtains for privacy in the daytime and long thick drapes that you can draw at night for complete privacy. The kitchen window is part lined with a film covering that creates a frosted glass effect diagonally through the middle of the window thus giving you a bit of privacy too while cooking, or just pull the blinds down and you are completely out of view. Your homely kitchen has all expected modern appliances so it will be easy to prepare a huge selection of food and eat at the dining table with four chairs.
Amsterdam West is a residential part of the city and neighbours with the Jordaan district in the city centre. This area makes for a peaceful holiday away from the city crowds thus a great chance to mix with the locals and experience everyday Amsterdam life. You have got a quiet park nearby called Erasmuspark where you can take a picnic and a ball and enjoy warm weather. The park is completely surrounded by a canal and has a lovely flower garden. Two of Amsterdam’s most popular and huge city parks, Westerpark and Rembrandtpark, are also in this district but a fifteen minute walk away. If you rent a bike during your holiday you can bike to them in five minutes. Biking is also a great way to pop into the city centre at your own pace and whenever you wish to; it only takes fifteen minutes to reach Dam Square. Otherwise venture into the city by trams from Bos en Lommerplein station. Being located so close to the A10 ring road lets you reach Schiphol airport in only ten minutes by car.
