Important information:
Please note the pictures showing are not of this actual apartment. The pictures are of Sarphatipark Apartment 16 Amsterdam, which is in the same building and has an almost identical lay out and furnishing to give a fair idea of the eventual look and feel.
This apartment is conveniently situated within the cosmopolitan De Pijp district, also known as the city’s Latin Quarter, which is home to around 150 different nationalities. The culture and ethnicity of the district is superbly reflected in its wealth of fine dining establishments which offer a huge collection of international cuisine. Many shops, cafes and bars can also be found within close proximity, as can the delights of the city centre. Accessible either on foot or by taking the bus or tram from the nearby Ceintuurbaan stop, the famous sights of Amsterdam such as Dam Square, the Red Light District and the Royal Palace are definitely worthy of a visit.
Closer to the apartment, and only a short walk away, you will find one of the city’s most popular markets. The Albert Cuyp Market, which began trading in the early 1900s, bustles with activity and is home to almost 300 busy stalls selling a huge range of products. The market is the largest street market in the Netherlands and attracts locals as well as tourists. Also close by is Amsterdam’s nicest city park, the picturesque Sarphatipark. Relatively small compared to some of the city’s other parks, spanning over just two blocks, the park boasts beautiful gardens and an idyllic lake.
