A modern boutique 1 bedroom apartment sleeps up to four people in the popular Old South District which is a short tram ride away from central Amsterdam and close to Albert Cuyp Market.
Located on the first floor this lovely Amsterdam apartment offers a comfortable and homely stay for up to four people. De Pijp District Apartment 6 has a very relaxing and warm ambiance which is supported by the modern furniture and the bright and well-maintained space. You will be welcomed by a well-arranged open plan living and dining area where you can relax on the grey fabric sofa, which can also be used as a double bed, or dine at the round dining table with four chairs. The kitchen is white, modern and well-equipped and comes with a stylish black work top where you will be happy to prepare multicultural food bought from the nearby Albert Cuyp Market. This lovely open plan area also has a light brown laminate floor, a large mirror hung on the wall above what used to be a fire place, a large picture above the sofa and tall ceilings. The apartment has one bright bedroom with twin single beds and a bathroom which comes with both a bathtub and shower.
De Pijp is a very vibrant area within the Old South District of Amsterdam. It is popular with both locals and tourists and home to many cafes, restaurants and bars which are mainly dotted around Ferdinand Bolstraat, Albert Cuypstraat and Marie Heinekenplein. Wander west of the apartment and you’ll reach Museumplein which is a big square filled with a grass area and pond and which plays home to many events and festivals. Here you can tour famous city museums such as the Rijksmuseum or take a stroll through the nearby Vondelpark. If you enjoy a busy night life then Leidseplein will do the trick with its many bars and cafes. Go into the Canal Belt towards the central Dam area and you’ll find Rembrandt Square which is also filled with restaurants and bars. Close to the square is the Flower Market which is by Singel canal. Keep going further north and you’ll soon be in the mainstream tourist areas around the Dam where you can find Amsterdam Dungeons, the Royal Palace and Red Light District.
