The park, named after the doctor Samuel Sarphati, is said to be one of the nicest in Amsterdam with its picturesque gardens and beautiful lake. Just minutes away is the popular Heineken experience, an interactive museum which allows visitors the chance to explore the wealth of history relating to Holland’s famous beer. The nearby Ceintuurbaan bus and tram stop provides transport links into the city centre, which can also be reached on foot if you prefer, where you will find the magnificent Royal Palace overlooking the vibrant Dam Square and the vivacious Red Light District.
