Ideally located in the De Pijp District of Amsterdam, also referred to as the city’s Latin Quarter, this apartment is perfectly positioned close to an array of shops, cafes and attractions. The area is renowned for its offerings of international cuisine, served in its superb collection of bars and restaurants. The city centre itself, boasting must see sights such as the stunning Old Church, the bustling Dam Square and the famous Red Light District, is within easy reach and can be accessed either on foot or by taking the tram or bus from the nearby Ceintuurbaan stop.
De Pijp is the home of one of Amsterdam’s most popular markets, the Albert Cuyp Market. Much loved by locals and tourist alike, this vibrant market is the place to find a bargain. Dating back to the early 1900s, the Albert Cuyp Market sells a huge range of produce, ranging from cosmetics to household items, and is packed with around 300 stalls. A short walk to the north of the apartment will lead you to an attraction not to be missed, the entertaining Heineken Experience. Here, within the enormous red brick building, you can explore the history of the well-known Dutch beer, whilst taking part in interactive exhibitions such as the Bottle ride.
