De Pijp area is just south of the central Canal Belt which Amsterdam is well-known for. De Pijp area itself is filled with things to do so start your exploring of Amsterdam with a walk down to the Albert Cuyp Market which is only ten minutes away, followed by a visit to the Heineken Experience where you can see the history and journey of the world famous beer. You may enjoy peace and quiet from time to time which makes the Sarphatipark, which is just around the corner from this short stay apartment, the ideal place for you. The rest of the city can be easily reached on trams which are reliable and quick and you can catch them from the Ceintuurbaan street which is only around the corner. In about fifteen minutes you can be at the Museum Quarter which has three of Amsterdam’s most famous museums: Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum and the Rijksmuseum. Or head north and in about fifteen minutes you will be at the Dam Square which is the home of the Royal Palace, the New Church and the Red Light District.
