Cosy and modern one bedroom apartment sleeps up to four people in the cosmopolitan area of De Pijp located in the Old South District close to Albert Cuyp Market and the Canal Belt.
There’s something quite sophisticated and comfortable about this small short stay apartment. You can be certain that you’ll feel very relaxed here in its warm and inviting ambiance. It is located on the second floor with a view of the typically Amsterdam narrow street outside. De Pijp District Apartment 10 has an open plan living and dining area which offers enough space for up to four people to enjoy staying here. You will find a large grey sofa which can be used as a double bed, a luxurious fluffy brown rug placed over the laminate flooring and a marble outline of where the old fireplace used to be which adds extra traditional character to this otherwise quite modern space. On the other end of the room is the white modern kitchen fully equipped for all your short term needs and opposite it a round dining table with four chairs. The apartment also has a bathroom which is fully furnished and has both a shower unit and bathtub and one bedroom with two single beds.
The Pijp area is one of the most cosmopolitan and vibrant parts of Amsterdam which is only a short tram ride away from central station. The area is located within the Old South District which is home to the well-visited Museum Quarter. Nearby you have many cafes and restaurants such as Bar Restaurant Simple, Mas Tapas and Mamouche and bars such as Chocolate Bar and Wildschut. Just past Sarphatipark, about 15 minutes away on foot, is the popular Albert Cuyp Market which has many stalls with a real multicultural feel that represents well the area around it. Just a short walk from here you will find the old Heineken Brewery which is now a museum offering the Heineken Experience which makes for a great activity with friends. Famous city museums such as the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum can be found around Museumplein: get there in 20 minutes on foot or 12 minutes via tram 3. Leidseplein is near there too where you can have a fun-filled outing day or night with its many shops, restaurants and clubs.
