A modern one bedroom apartment; suitable for four people and located in one of the best spots in Amsterdam close to central station, Dam Square, China Town and the Red Light District.
The Old Harbour G is an incredibly bright and well-maintained apartment in which you can instantly feel at home in. You’ll be welcomed by a nicely decorated space with modern furniture, white walls, laminate flooring and lots of natural light coming in through the large windows. When you walk in to your right is a separate toilet with sink and on from there a large bedroom with two single beds, side cabinets and lamps. Next is the fully furnished bathroom which is tiled white and comes with a bathtub, shower unit and sink with mirror. The door at the end of the corridor leads you into the open plan living area where you’ll first notice the large windows that are furnished with full length curtains. Here you also have a black corner sofa bed, a black coffee table and a wooden dining table with four elegant black leather chairs and a contemporary large metallic lampshade hanging over it. Behind the table is a white modern kitchen which is fully equipped and nicely tucked away out of view from the living area.
This wonderfully decorated apartment is located in a great spot from where you have the freedom to wander to many Amsterdam’s top attractions on foot or via regular public transport. Just a few minutes away are China Town, the Red Light District, the Old Church and central station. Since you are located within the pretty Canal Belt then it’s a great idea to take a tour of this historic city on boat with one of the tour companies that run from just outside of the central station of from Damrak. Head up to Dam Square to take pictures by the Royal Palace and the National Monument or to visit the New Church. There are a number of trams from Dam Square that take about 20 minutes to get to the Old South District which is home to popular areas such as Leidseplein with its many shops, bars and restaurants, Vondelpark which is great for relaxing, Holland’s most popular market the Albert Cuyp Market and the Museum Quarter where you can visit museums such as the Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum.
