A charming, spacious apartment with two bedrooms, overlooking the historic Oosterdok in Amsterdam, close to Central Station.

This apartment is large and filled with light, thanks to the large windows dominating the living space. Pale walls are accented with subtle hints of colour in the sofa and curtains, while blond wooden floors add a feeling of warmth to the space. There's plenty of space for everyone to gather in the living room, with comfy armchairs as well as a large sofa, ideal for relaxing in front of a movie. The sofa also converts into a bed. The coffee table makes this the perfect place to serve a drink after dinner.

High ceilings and exposed beams throughout the apartment are classic features that mix well with the chic, modern furnishings. The kitchen is compact but contains all the equipment you need to create meals at home, while a dining area with seating for six is provided for enjoying a quick breakfast or long, lingering dinner. There are two bedrooms in the apartment, one with a double bed and one with two singles, for ultimate flexibility. There's also storage for your belongings as well as bedside tables and lamps for night-time reading. The bathroom has a shower as well as a bathtub, and there's also a separate guest toilet.

Staying in this area gives you the best of both worlds - just a few minutes' walk from Central Station, it's also a lovely place for a stroll by the water. The area has been recently regenerated and has lots of offices, shops, restaurants and apartments, making it a vibrant place to be. There are several award-winning buildings in this area, including the Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ, a concert hall for modern classical music. The Conservatory of Amsterdam is also here, and is the largest conservatory in the Netherlands. As well as classrooms, the building has three concert halls and a theatre with a great programme.

You'll find lots of excellent restaurants and cafes here too. For casual Italian food in a cafeteria-style setting, try Vapiano, and the Sea Palace is a Chinese restaurant resembling an ornate Chinese house floating on the water. In addition to all there is to do on your doorstep, you can be at the attractions of Amsterdam within minutes. A great location for business or pleasure.
