Enjoy the stylish surroundings in this one bedroom holiday apartment in central Amsterdam which is located close to many restaurants, canals and the Anne Frank House.
This is one of the trendiest Amsterdam holiday apartments in which the décor is a great mix of modern and traditional designs but which all blend perfectly together to provide a place that is comfortable, practical and homely. Located on the second floor it has a good size living room which has a big window that you can look through onto the narrow street outside. The living room features two sofas, one of which is a sofa bed, a small wooden coffee table, a stylish traditional drawer cabinet, wall paintings, a Dutch black and white ‘cow’ rug and a very funky wooden desk with a chair. Throughout the apartment you will notice the wooden parquet and the original ceiling beams which are typical of Amsterdam’s historical houses. The kitchen which is modern, white in colour and well equipped, is located in a different room along with the wooden dining table and four black leather chairs. There is also one twin bedroom with an en suite bathroom that has a bathtub and shower unit.
Important information Please note that the ensuite bathroom cannot be sealed off from the bedroom by a door. Therefore privacy is limited.
Located within the central Jordaan area of Amsterdam this holiday apartment is in an ideal setting amongst beautiful canals that Amsterdam is famed for, including Brouwersgracht canal which is adorned by many picturesque humpback bridges. The apartment is more specifically located next to the Noordermarkt square where there are regular markets held and which is the home of Noorderkerk, a church which was built in the 17th century to accommodate the growing population of the area that the first church the Westerkerk could no longer accommodate to alone. After a little while the Noorderkerk became the church of the working class folk while Westerkerk was for the wealthier amongst the community. There are many cafes and restaurants in this area particularly close by on Lindengracht street which is the next street along north of the apartment and also on Westerstraat which runs off Noordermarkt. The world famous Anne Frank House is just an eight minute walk away; it is located next to Westerkerk.
