A one bedroom apartment with a welcoming atmosphere sleeps up to four people in Amsterdam’s central Jordaan area close to many tourist attractions.
Located on the first floor this modern holiday apartment is a great hub from which you can enjoy living in during a leisure or business short stay in Amsterdam. Step inside and you will be welcomed by an inviting décor and a wonderfully fresh and airy ambiance. The apartment features one bedroom with two single beds and along with the sofa bed it can accommodate up to four people. Inside the living room you will see black furniture: two arm chairs, a sofa and a coffee table. Furthermore there are two tall floor lamps, a large canvas painting behind the sofa and a cream rug over the laminate floor. This is an open plan room which holds the kitchen and dining area on the other end just on a very slight lower level down a couple of steps. You can enjoy preparing meals together in the modern white kitchen and dine together on the wooden table with four black leather chairs. Next to the table is a traditional dark wooden cabinet. There is also a big bathroom that has a shower unit and a bathtub.
Important information
The ensuite bathroom cannot be sealed off from the bedroom by a door, therefore privacy is limited.
This modern Amsterdam holiday apartment is located within the central Jordaan area. This is a wonderful area to stay in during any visit to the city. Hard to believe that such a trendy and sought after area was once a working class slum. The best way to enjoy it is to get your comfortable shoes on and start walking; admire the many canals that run through it, the charming 17th century canal houses and the scenic sights of the humpback bridges. There are many cafes, restaurants, speciality shops and art galleries to enjoy too. The apartment is located next to Noordermarkt square which holds regular markets and is the home of Noorderkerk. The famous Anne Frank House museum is in the area and only about an eight minute walk away. The story of Anne Frank is indeed touching and a visit to the museum is a must for most people so to avoid the queues buy your tickets in advance. Next to the museum is Westerkerk which was the first church to be built in the area and is also the resting place of famous Dutch painter Rembrandt.
