Wake up to a fresh and airy, modern apartment in the heart of Amsterdam close to many tourist attractions, restaurants and bars; suitable for up to four people.
If you desire a holiday apartment which is fully furnished, modern, homely and has a great welcoming and cosy décor then this may be the accommodation for you. Located on the third floor this centrally located Amsterdam apartment is filled with attractive furnishings in the bedroom and open plan living area, and has a modern kitchen and bathroom. The open plan front room has a great view from height over the street outside through the three large windows. Next to the window are a sofa, a coffee table and an entertainment unit, followed by a dark wooden dining table with four black leather chairs. The white glossy kitchen with a black worktop has all the functions like your kitchen back at home so that you can prepare every meal in the apartment without the need to eat out every day. The sofa bed in the living room along with a double bed in the one bedroom allow for up to four people to enjoy this holiday apartment while on a leisure or business short stay. The en-suite bathroom has both a shower unit and a bathtub.
Important Information
The ensuite bathroom can only be accessed through the bedroom and cannot be closed off by a door, therefore keep in mind that privacy is limited.
If you ask an Amsterdam local which areas are the best to live in, the Jordaan district is amongst the best listed, if not number one. The apartment is surrounded with canals, cafes, restaurants and attractions. Just a three minute walk away on Rozengracht is Rozentheatre where you can see various plays; Boom Chicago also hosts its live comedy shows there. Walk five minutes up the Prinsengracht canal and you will find yourself outside the Anne Frank House which is a world famous museum and an incredibly touching story and worth a visit on any short stay in Amsterdam. If you walk about seven minutes further up the canal from the museum you will reach the Brouwersgracht canal which runs through the northern part of the Jordaan and is arguably the prettiest of all the canals with many picturesque humpback bridges. Just off the Brouwersgracht canal stands the West India House which was the headquarters of the West India Company that once run the colony on the island of Manhattan, then named Nieuw Amsterdam and today know as New York.
