Iris 2 North

The elegant 1-bedroom Iris 2 North apartment sleeps up to 4 guests and is centrally situated close to Artis zoo in the Plantage district. It is an ideal rental property for guests needing quick and easy access to Central Station.

Inside this second floor apartment you will find a fresh and calm décor and attractive furnishings throughout. In the attractive modern kitchen you can prepare all your favourite meals using the provided oven, microwave, fridge and all-important coffee machine. The stylish dining table and chairs make meal times that bit more sociable. In the living area you can relax with your guests and watch international channels or DVDs on the provided flat-screen TV. A comfortable sofa converts quickly into a double bed for two of your guests while two others can reside in the bedroom which has two singles. Meanwhile there is also a small bathroom with sink, a shower cabin with two shower heads and separate toilet in the hallway.

Bed linen and towels are provided for you during your stay. We insist on using Fair-trade cotton which is produced in a sustainable and ethical way without using any insecticides in developing countries. We believe that by paying an honest price to local farmers their working and living environment is gradually improved step by step. Please understand that this a strictly non-smoking apartment which is also fitted with sensitive fire alarms for your protection.

The Plantage district is a leafy and quiet oasis in the centre of Amsterdam and within walking distance of all the major attractions the city has to offer. With the Botanical Gardens and the world-famous Artis zoo on your doorstep you will not be short of things to do locally.

The Hermitage Museum is also close by on the Amstel River. It hosts exhibitions incorporating all kinds of fascinating art and artifacts relating to Russia. For more culture and art head south a few stops on the tram to the majestic Rijksmuseum where you can see Rembrandt’s famous Night Watch and a number of priceless Vermeer paintings amongst other historic Dutch antiquities.

Although the Pantage is close to the centre, most visitors choose to take the tram to get there as it is just so quick and easy. From Central Station you need trams 9 and 14 which cross right through the district.
