This 2-bedroom Amsterdam holiday apartment is a perfect choice for a group of six. If you’re after plenty of living space, charming décor, and an excellent location, look no further.
If you’ve ever wondered how a combination of ‘modern’ and ‘classical’ looks like, the answer is right before your eyes. Stylish wooden floors and original beamed ceilings mix smoothly with contemporary features, creating all in all a perfectly enjoyable indoor setting.
The living area comes with a set of comfortable furniture, including a double sleeping sofa, an armchair, a chic coffee table, and a storage unit, accompanied by a flatscreen TV and a fireplace to make the interiors even more atmospheric. This is also where you’ll find an open-plan kitchen supplied with a big selection of cooking amenities, as well as an elegant dining table with a set of chairs to let you dine on-the-spot.
The apartment offers a fresh bathroom fitted with a sink, bathtub, and a shower cabin (with the toilet located separately), and comes with two separate bedrooms. The master bedroom – furnished with a large double bed – is found at the backside of the place, while the second bedroom – fitted with two single beds – requires a small maneuver to get to; you will need to cross the central staircase of the building, and this is where you’ll find the sleeping section, while a flight of stairs will lead you to another separate toilet.
Important information:
To get to the second bedroom you will need to cross the central staircase of the building. This staircase leads to your apartment and to the apartment above you. You will need to exit your apartment and cross the hallway to get to other part of the apartment. There is no elevator in this building.
Also, while the apartments are furnished at this very moment we do not yet have photos of this actual apartment. Therefore we uploaded photos of a similar apartment with the same look and feel. Please note that these photos do not reflect the actual apartment lay out and furniture.
Regardless of how you’d like to spend your time in Amsterdam, you’ll be given a broad spectrum of attractions to choose from – and all that within a close vicinity from your place of stay.
To start with, you’ll surely be most delighted to take a walk along the picturesque of Amstel. If you head north, it will take you to the heart of the city, where you will be able to admire many of the most significant local landmarks, including the mysterious Begijnhof (the oldest courtyard of Amsterdam), the busy and lively Dam Square, the majestic Oude Kerk, or the charming Nieuwmarkt with the top-notch Café in de Waag in its centre. Oh, and once you start your sightseeing, make sure to stop by at Museum Hermitage Amsterdam – you shouldn’t miss the opportunity when you’re that close.
If you decide to explore the more immediate parts of the neighborhood, you can head either to the north-east and visit Artis Royal Zoo and Hortus Botanicus, or south-west and enjoy getting lost in the maze of the canal belt, studded with fine cafés, eateries, galleries, shops, markets, and plenty of must-sees like the Heineken Experience, Museumplein, or Albert Cuypmarkt.
