Charming studio apartment fit for four accommodates your needs at the heart of the Canal Belt, the Herengracht Canal.
Never have rectangular shapes felt more cozy and homey than in the Herengracht Canal studio apartment! With lots of vast space and comfortable furniture of minimal design, the apartment offers a well lit living room with a flat screen TV and a set of sofas that can be easily moved around upon desire. Have fun in the kitchen where you will find all the bare necessities for cooking together with a door that isolates the aroma from the rest of the apartment.
It is very easy to feel at home with the wooden sparkling floor and the classic arched ceiling that is in all the areas that combined with the colors and lighting, make for a creamy sweet atmosphere. The bedroom is separated with one wall from the living area, but still feels secluded and comfy. Bathroom features clean white shower, sink and toilet. Be fresh and ready to march the canal belt, as this studio is located in one of the main canals of Amsterdam and the center of the city, the Herengracht Canal.
The apartment is located at the second Venice of Europe, the canal belt of Amsterdam which is also the center of the city. The Herengracht is the first of the four built in the 17th century for residential purposes but also for better ways to manage the water. Now the canals are the most special feature of the city, with boat houses, little bridges and unique lighting at night.
This canal was home of the richest influential people and still preserves the same feeling, with beautiful little houses and gardens. From this spot, the posh Jordaan district, the Dam Square and the Nine Streets are a walking distance. These areas are magnificent for shopping, cafés and restaurants, Dutch products and international. Stop at Jordaan for the most interesting art galleries and antique shops local and international. Ask for a mint tea anywhere in the Nine Streets, and you will be served the green leaves of the plant in hot water in a transparent cup. If a good bike rider, rent a bike and stroll around, but remember, only if good, as no one matches with the Dutch bike riders!

The apartment is very good value for money and the double bed/sofa beds are extremely comfortable. It's quite spacious and the apartment owner is very sincere and friendly. I have absolutely no complaints about this place and would certainly stay there again.
