If you’re a group of four and keen on the theme of marine life, then this ultra-convenient Amsterdam studio located just at Oosterdok might well be the option for you.
Apart from the enviable location, this great apartment comes with a range of features and solutions that are bound to make your stay both pleasant and exciting at the same time. The modern décor of the interiors goes hand in hand with a high level of functionality, providing you with all the desired convenience.
The light daily area is furnished with a full lounge-like set – a big sofa convertible into a double sleeping option, a dining table with chairs and a flatscreen TV for some home entertainment. As you can see, the place enjoys a good deal of height – and not without a reason. The provided flight of stairs will take you directly to the mezzanine level with a double bed and right under the staircase you’ll also find a small but richly-equipped kitchenette, enabling you to take care of your own simple meals. The main theme of this place is functionality, and it wouldn’t be complete with a modern bathroom, of course – one with a toilet, sink and a shower.
Important information: The Harbour Loft Studios are located in a separate building adjacent to the small courtyard at the back of the main building. This building can only be reached through the main building and the courtyard, this route includes 1 flight of stairs to the lower ground level.
The location of this amazing place will allow you to make the most of all the highlights of the strict centre of Amsterdam – plus, it’s only about 1 kilometer away from Amsterdam Centraal, so moving around the city should come at real ease.
Once you leave the doorstep, you’ll be greeted by a splendid greenish structure by the name of NEMO Science Centre. If you’re a fan of marine life and its deepest secrets, this one’s a must. Alternatively, it might be fun to visit it even to enjoy a great panorama of the surroundings and when you reach the ground, you might head west to explore the area of Nieuwmarkt (have a cup of coffee in the famous de Waag building) with its variety of products on offer, the nooks of Red Light District which will tempt you with some great bars and coffee shops (among others) or the architectonic riches of the Dam Square and its adjacent streets and alleys lined with fabulous restaurants and most peculiar shops and museums (including the well-known Sexmuseum).
You can also find some peace of mind in the nearby courtyard of Begijnhof – a court of the oldest houses in the city. From there it is only a stone’s throw to the picturesque Canal Belt with its fantastic markets, galleries and museums – not to mention the scenic setting even for a casual stroll.
