Spend you Amsterdam holiday in this four person, modern apartment in De Pijp neighbourhood near Albert Cuyp Market and Heineken Experience.
This holiday apartment has been given a modern makeover and furnished with all the homely amenities needed for a hassle-free stay during a leisure or business trip to Amsterdam. Once you walk in you can feel immediately welcome amongst the light interior with colours of whites, browns and blacks. Inside is a long and narrow space which is typical of Amsterdam’s historical houses. This enables you to enjoy the large open plan living area where you can relax on the corner sofa bed or the leather lounge chair and footstall while your cuppa sits on the stylish low-level table, or cook up a feast in the separate kitchen to enjoy at the large table with six chairs that sits in the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped to ensure that a large group of eight can have food ready as quickly as in your home. Another plus for eight is the two modern bathrooms; each has a shower and one a bathtub. Furthermore the apartment has three bedrooms, access to the roof terrace and a trendy bricked wall in the living room.
Many people choose to stay in the Pijp area because it is so close to the central Canal Belt but also because it is filled with things to do. This is a trendy part of Amsterdam where you will notice many students, young professionals and a multicultural population. Food choice is great as you can go for a quick bite at a café, try typical Dutch meals or tickle your taste buds with Moroccan or Surinamese flavours. If you enjoy browsing markets then head to the nearby Albert Cuyp Market which runs every day apart from Sunday. While there try the freshly made caramel waffles called ‘stroopwafels’. You can also buy them packed in the supermarkets and enjoy with a cuppa back at the apartment; a little tip, rest one over your hot coffee or tea so that the caramels goes soft and tastes even more delicious. For a quiet walk, a jog or for somewhere to let the kids run wild you’ve got Sarphati Park nearby. Groups of friends may enjoy Heineken Experience which is less than a ten minute walk away.
