Good accommodation is crucial for any trip to be enjoyable. Luckily for you, this great 2-bedroom Amsterdam apartment comes with all the comfort and convenience you might desire for up to 4 guests.
The bright and roomy interiors of this splendid place will grant you a truly fantastic indoor experience. The layout, the selection of furnishings, and the overall atmosphere are bound to keep you happy throughout the whole short stay.
The exceptionally light living room comes furnished with a complete lounge suit including a nice sofa, two matching armchairs, a stylish coffee table and a flatscreen TV to serve you with some home entertainment. You can also socialize in a separate kitchen, which provides you with an excellent setting for that as it features a big dining table complete with a set of chairs, apart from the selection of useful cooking amenities.
The apartment comprises also two separate atmospheric bedrooms, one of which offers a huge double bed, and the other – two single beds, so that you get plenty of sleeping options. There’s also a separate bathroom, enjoying a contemporary finish and fitted with a toilet, sink and a shower cabin.
Important information: No pets allowed. The apartment is suitable for guests with allergies. Because the apartment is situated on the 3rd floor, it is less suitable for elderly or handicapped people.
If you’re looking for variety, De Pijp is exactly the district to go for. Once a home to poor artists and students, today the area is an exciting ‘melting pot’ of cultures, sights and food. And all that served in a great setting of traditional Dutch architecture.
To start with, you should definitely find the time to head to the ever-lively Albert Cuyp Markt. With well over 300 stalls, this is probably one of the busiest (and cheapest!) markets in the city. The offer ranges from food and clothes to furniture and electronics, though this is, of course, only an ‘excerpt’ from the whole range of products on sale.
After successful bargaining you can catch a breath in the nearby garden of tranquillity called Sarphatipark. You can also enjoy some coffee at Cafe Sarphaat, or a glass of beer at Marie Heinekenplein found a bit to the north. It is lined with many great eating establishments, but the biggest highlight is rather the Heineken Experience – a modern museum of brewing industry. By Heineken, of course.
All the ‘guidebook’ attractions, like Oude Kerk, Dam Square or Begijnhof, are found to the north, but if you head west, you’ll come across the splendid Museumplein. It will keep you occupied with exhibits of most different sort, ranging from House of Bols’ curiosities to Stedelijk’s contemporary art.
