Dapper Market Apartment 4

A bright, modern and comfortable apartment with one bedroom close to Dapper Market in the eastern part of Amsterdam.

This apartment has been thoughtfully decorated to maximise the space and light available. Located in a typically classical Dutch building, the interior is contemporary, using a palette of muted greys and creams to create a relaxing ambience with a touch of luxury. The living area is large and features intelligent lighting to maximise the cosiness, as well as a large window, letting plenty of light and fresh air into the room. The comfortable sofa is the ideal place to relax at the end of a long day. The open-plan kitchen is well-equipped with all the elements you need to create great meals, whether it's a quick snack or breakfast on the run. There's a dining table with seating for everyone to enjoy meals together. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed and storage for all your belongings. The large bathroom is modern and has a shower, sink and toilet.

Location

This area of Amsterdam is vibrant and multicultural, and is home to countless restaurants serving international cuisine, such as Surinamese, Indonesian, Greek and French. It's on a quiet street but close to the Dapper Market, which is known as one of the city's busiest with up to 15,000 visitors per day. The market has everything from exotic foods to clothes. Also close to the apartment is the Tropenmuseum, an excellent look at Dutch colonial activities in the East Indies. The Artis Zoo is close by and is a beautiful place to spend a day, with 17th century buildings and a butterfly conservatory. Just a ten minute tram journey away is Rembrandtsplein, with a variety of bars and clubs ideal for a night out. Near this square is the Pathe Tuschinski, a modern cinema in a classic building that has been a theatre since 1921.
