There are two nice parks in this neighborhood, the Frankendael and the Amstel Park. The Frankendael Park originates from the 17th century and it contains a country estate called the Frankendael house. The Amstel Park is a bit further south and it has extensive flora and a labyrinth. You can play mini golf or visit the pet zoo.

Or you can visit the oldest zoo in The Netherlands called Artis. It has a planetarium, an aquarium and two museums. And if you like the flora and fauna world we suggest you also visit Hortus Botanicus which is close to Artis, this botanical garden is one of the oldest in the world.
