Bright and modern and ideally located, this apartment is a great choice for business travellers.
This apartment has one bedroom and is comfortably designed with a focus on light and space. The open-plan living/dining/kitchen area is a great place to relax and unwind after a long day of work or sightseeing. Large windows throw light throughout the space, which is decorated in soothing shades of cream and white, with light-coloured polished wooden floors. The kitchen is compact but has everything you need to create whatever kind of meals you desire, whether it's a complicated dinner or a quick snack. There's a dining area ideal for enjoying breakfast before setting off into the city. The living room has a comfortable sofa where you can plan the day's activities around the coffee table. There's a small work-space here too, for catching up on emails or following up on work generated throughout the day. The bedroom has a cosy double bed, as well as bedside tables and lighting perfect for night-time reading, and storage for your belongings. The modern bathroom features a sink, shower and toilet.
This location is perfect for business travellers. Close to Amstel Station, there are excellent transport links to the rest of the city and indeed, the country. The centre of Amsterdam is a 15 minute train journey away but if you have time and feel a little energetic, you can walk along the banks of the river right into Damrak, in the heart of the city. The RAI Congress Centre has played host to some internationally recognised events and should you need to visit during your short stay, it's within walking distance or a ten-minute trip by tram from the apartment. If your stay is for pleasure rather than business, there's plenty to see in this area. You can travel into the city centre by boat, taking in some of the scenery on the way. Alternatively, the Hermitage Museum, which is connected to the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, is close by. The beautiful Frankendael Park, home to Amsterdam's only remaining 17-century country estate. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in this area, so you won't have to travel far for entertainment. Overall, a great location for a short stay in Amsterdam, whether it's for business, pleasure or a combination of the two.
