The stylish City Park Apartment II features contemporary furnishing and a convenient and central location in Amsterdam. Sleeping up to 4 guests, this self-catered rental in a newly built property makes for a great alternative to renting out a hotel room.
The apartment is cleverly designed and spacious studio with different zones. The living area is fitted with a large sofa that converts easily into a bed for two of your guests, as well as a flatscreen TV with international channels. Behind a stylish partition you will find a double bed for the two remaining guests. Wooden flooring runs throughout the apartment and is in keeping with the fresh design aesthetics.
The open kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your self-catered stay, and a dining table to enjoy mealtimes together. The modern bathroom has a toilet, shower, and large designer sink. Access to the apartment is via a lift so there is no need to fret about typically steep Dutch staircases.
Important information: This apartment is located in a quiet residential building. Therefore it is very suitable for families or elderly, and not for groups.
The apartment is located just outside the canal belt in the Oud-West neighbourhood. Favoured by locals, this area has trendy shops and eateries. Check out the leafy and residential Bosboom Toussaintstraat nearby, and its selection of tasty restaurants, including De Italiaan pizza eatery and Narbonne, a tapas bar. Guests can stock up on food supplies at the local Albert Heijn supermarket, a short walk away on the lively Overtoom street. A few doors down from the apartment building is Grape District, Amsterdam’s most reputable wine shop, and the popular Vlaamsche Broodhuys, which serves a delicious continental breakfast and sells the best bread in the city.
Located close to the popular Leidse Square entertainment area you will find excellent transport links with regular trams taking you to and from Amsterdam Central Station. Leidse Square has a host of bars, cafes with inviting terraces when the weather is nice, and non-stop street entertainment from the city’s best buskers. The famous Vondelpark is a 5-minute walk away, prized for its 47 hectares with an open-air theatre, playgrounds for children, and selection of cafes. The park is a perfect spot for having a picnic in sunny weather, or simply to stretch your legs.
