Just a few minutes towards the south of the apartment you will find Amsterdam’s impressive Dam Square, an enormous square which attracts visitors from all over the world. Adorned with a collection of superb souvenir shops and trendy cafes, Dam Square is where many of the city’s iconic buildings, such as the magnificent Royal Palace, the stunning New Church and the gigantic Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, can be found.

Also nearby, and a sight certainly not to be missed, is Amsterdam’s popular Red Light district, which is renowned for its lively nightlife scene. The area is characterised by narrow, winding passageways and is one of the oldest parts of the city. Overlooking the Red Light district is the incredible Old Church (Oude Kerk), which was built in the 14th century and boasts some fine examples of remarkable architecture.
