This elegant apartment is on the second floor of a historic Amsterdam building that was constructed around 1750 and recently renovated to a high standard. The immaculately finished apartment was decorated by professional interior designers and has a welcoming, neutral ambiance that is pleasing to the eye. The open plan kitchen, fully equipped with modern amenities, is located at the front of the apartment and leads into the chic dining room which has a large dining table seating up to six people. The spacious living room is at the back on the same floor, featuring a 40-inch flat screen TV, a comfortable sofa bed, two armchairs, and even a chandelier.

Stairs leading from the living room bring you down to the floor with two cozy bedrooms, one with a large double bed, and the other spacious bedroom with two single beds. The modern bathroom is on this floor, with a shower, sumptuous bathtub, and large double sink, and the toilet is located in a separate bathroom. The entire apartment boasts beautiful hardwood floors and environmentally-friendly heating generated partially by sun boilers.

Located within the central canal belt, this apartment is on a quiet residential street between two of Amsterdam’s most famous canals, Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht. Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein, two bustling squares renowned for their bars, cafes, and clubs, are both a 5-minute walk from the apartment. Museum Square, which features the famous Rijks museum and The Van Gogh museum, and Amsterdam's largest park, Vondelpark, are both about a 10-minute walk away.

The apartment is just off Vijzelstraat, a popular street that cuts through Amsterdam’s city centre and will soon provide underground public transport. It has a number of tram lines along the street, enabling easy access to Amsterdam’s famous attractions if you have weary legs. Vijzelstraat has several cafes, specialty food shops, bakeries, and a big Albert Heijn supermarket, so that guests can stock up on food supplies during their self-catered holiday.
