The Central VIP 3 Amsterdam is a two floor, five star apartment close to the Prinsengracht in the heart of the Canal Belt suited for 6 persons who are looking for a luxurious short stay accommodation in Amsterdam.
This apartment is located in a 250 year old Amsterdam historic building which was completely renovated in 2010 to the highest standard. It has modern furniture and a stylish design. All this is complemented with exposed beams and wooden floors. The living room is a perfect place to relax with two comfortable armchairs, a sofa, a chandelier and a 40 inch flat screen. Wireless internet is available.
The open kitchen has all you need to prepare an extensive meal. It has an oven, a microwave, a fridge and a washing machine. In the kitchen you can use the coffee machine to start the day with fresh coffee and a kettle to boil water for a cup of tea. The kitchen opens into a dining room with a dining table suited for 6 persons.
The master bedroom is located on this floor while the other two bedrooms are on the top floor with in total 6 single beds. The master bedroom has a large cupboard to stall your belongings. The bathroom has a shower, a bathtub and a sink and the toilet is located separately.
This apartment is located in the centre part of the canal belt, just behind the Prinsengracht. Gracht is the Dutch word for canal. The Prinsengracht is one of the three main canals of the Canal Belt. It is named after Prince William of Orange who took the lead in the war against Spain in the 16th century. The other two main canals are the Herengracht and the Keizersgracht. The old monumental houses along these canals are impressive with their typical Dutch step gables.
Your apartment is also near to the Museumplein or Museum square. The Rijksmuseum is a big museum with 200 halls full of 17th century paintings of Dutch masters like Rembrandt, Hals and Steen. The Night Watch of Rembrandt is probably the most well known. Or if you prefer expressionism then go to the Van Gogh museum and see the Potato Eaters of this famous painter or two of his self portraits.
The Vondelpark is named after the famous Dutch poet Vondel who lived in the 17th century. It is the longest stretched city park of Amsterdam. There are ponds, walking trails and even many people like to pick nick on the grass. This park was designed in 1864 based on the English landscape style.
