Located within a stunningly renovated 17th century canal side warehouse featuring lots of original authentic internal and external details, you are sure to fall in love with your holiday home. Step inside this delightful living space. The sleek wooden floors and handsome exposed wooden ceiling beams create real sense of space. Indeed the living room alone measures 80 square metres so there’s plenty of room for everyone to relax here. A flat screen TV with lots of international channels can be enjoyed from the comfort of the huge L-shaped sofa where extra guests can also sleep if necessary. Food can be easily prepared in the stylish fully fitted kitchen located at one end of the room. Make your mealtimes super sociable by serving up your culinary creations at the large dining table and chairs alongside. There are three private bedrooms in the apartment, each fitted with good quality storage furniture and attractive bed side lighting. One room features a double bed whilst the other two have singles which can be pushed together to create doubles if required. There are three bathrooms in the property featuring two showers, a bath and three toilets and sinks. One of the rooms features the original warehouse loading bay doors with shutters. The doors can be opened wide but please be aware that there is no safety rail here. For this reason this apartment is not recommended for families with children. Don’t miss the beautiful balcony where you can enjoy a view across the canal and share a bottle of wine in the warmer months. This is also a great place to escape to with a good book for some quiet time alone.

 

The Brewers Loft Apartment Amsterdam is located just a short walk to the west of Central Station in the delightful Canal Belt district which is famous for its tall wonky houses, pretty houseboats and peaceful cobbled streets. The area is surprisingly quiet considering you are in the very heart of one of the most densely populated cities in Europe. Look out for the charming foot bridges that light up atmospherically in the evenings and some unexpected wildlife on your doorstep. Huge hungry heron can often be seen standing as still as statues on top of parked cars.

 

The next road along is the famous Harlemmerstraat which was recently voted Holland’s best independent shopping street. It is jam packed with all kinds of interesting stores including vintage and contemporary fashionable clothes shops, specialist bread and cheese sellers, unusual gift boutiques, cafes and a cinema. The street continues west out of town and brings you to the wonderful Westerpark. This welcome green oasis of calm is the perfect place to escape the busy city. Why not bring along a picnic whilst you relax alongside one of the pretty water features? There are also several bars and food opportunities at the edge of the park including the excellent De Bakkerswinkel where you can grab a hearty breakfast or just a coffee and a muffin.

The apartment is also only a short walk away from the iconic Dam Square where you can watch the many human statues that entertain the crowds daily. The popular entertainment area the Red Light District is also only a few minutes’ walk away across Damrak, the main artery running south form Central Station.
