There is a great hangout scene at the Marie Heineken square where you can enjoy a beverage day or night at the number of bars. For group fun try out the Heineken Experience next to the square which gives you a great tour of what was once the Heineken Brewery. Only a ten minute walk away is Amsterdam’s popular Albert Cuyp Market which is open every day apart from Sundays. There are many cafes and restaurants around this area, particularly those serving Moroccan and Surinamese specialities. Tram 4 from around the corner can take you to Dam Square in under 20 minutes.
