This attractive Amsterdam holiday apartment is set in the east part of the Old South district, right by Amstel River. The Pijp area around the apartment is a vibrant part of the city and has a multicultural presence boasting great Moroccan and Surinamese restaurants. There is a great hangout scene at the Marie Heineken square where you can enjoy a beverage day or night at the number of bars. For group fun try out the Heineken Experience next to the square which gives you a great tour of what was once the Heineken Brewery. In about ten minutes on foot you can find yourself at the popular Albert Cuyp Market which is open every day, apart from Sundays. While there try a couple of Dutch favourite snacks such as the kibbeling which are battered fish bites or the freshly made stroopwaffles which are warm and crunchy caramel filled waffles and great for those with a sweet tooth. The scenic canal belt is only a ten minute walk away north of this Amsterdam holiday apartment.
