Here you have a neighbourhood with a trendy feel thanks to the grand industrial warehouses that were built for the shipping industry in the seventeenth century and are now used as modern residential apartments or office spaces. This holiday rental allows you quick access to the main city centre with bus 22 from outside and the tram 10 from around the corner. Use the bus to get to Amsterdam Centraal, the Red Light District, Dam Square and China Town, and use the metro for the Museum Square, the Rijksmuseum, Leidse Square and the Jordaan district. Walk across the canal into the Plantage district and you will soon find Artis Zoo which makes for a relaxing outing. Opposite the zoo are Hollandsche Schouwburg and the Verzetsmuseum. About a five minute walk away is a market caller Dappermarkt and it runs all day Mondays to Fridays. A short walk away from the apartment is an Albert Heijn supermarket.
