Take the bus from down the road and in minutes you are outside the Centraal station and next to the Red Light District and Dam Square areas. This part of the city is heaving with tourists day and night and you will find much to do such as sightseeing, cruising the canals, shopping, wandering past the famous red lights, drinking in the evenings or enjoying meals at the cafes and restaurants. The tram from around the corner takes you quickly to Leidse Square and near the Rijksmuseum.
