Overlooking a pretty canal in the heart of Amsterdam’s old city core, this stunningly presented holiday home accommodates up to 4 guests.

Our 1st floor apartment boasts a certain sophisticated flair with its floor to ceiling windows and wooden flooring throughout. The carefully chosen designer furniture and effortlessly chic grey décor simply add to the proceedings.

The apartment has a modern open plan layout which includes an excellent fitted kitchen where all the equipment you need during your stay is provided. Fresh ingredients can be sourced from nearby shops and supermarkets. Meanwhile an elegant dining table and six chairs enable you to enjoy your mealtimes together in comfort.

The large sofa in the living room area is the perfect place to rest after your evening meal. You will find a coffee table and a flat screen TV also provided here.

You will find two private bedrooms furnished with a double bed and two singles. There’s certainly no fussy wallpaper here to keep you awake at night. The décor is clean and simple encouraging a good restful night’s sleep - so important during your holiday. A designer bathroom includes a toilet, sink, bath and shower.

Lying immediately to the west of Central Station in the popular Westerdok district, the apartment is only a few minutes’ walk away from the city’s host of exciting attractions. This is a quiet residential area with a friendly community spirit.

Be sure to pop down to Dam Square for a frothy coffee and some people watching. There’s always something going on here, night and day. You can’t miss those determined the human statues that litter the plaza most of the year. Perhaps they will persuade you to part with your loose change.

The upmarket Magna Plaza and Bijenkorf shopping centres can be found on the edge of the plaza. However more affordable fare can be found all over the city. Take your pick from the vintage threads of the Nine Streets district to the fantastically unpredictable wares on sale at the Waterlooplein Flea Market.

The Rembrandtplein or Leidseplein entertainment districts are the perfect places to visit if you are planning a night on the town. However they are just as much fun in the daytime and a great place to enjoy a cool frothy Dutch beer before moving on to explore the many attractions the city has to offer.

The city has many parks to relax in. The nearest to the apartment is the beautiful Westerpark which is located at the end of the pretty Harlemmerstraat. This extremely attractive street was recently named the best independent shopping street in Holland and again a great place to pick up souvenirs and gifts for loved ones back home.
